Joaquin Phoenix called Oscar campaigning “total, utter bullshit”
Joaquin Phoenix is considered a leading contender for best actor for his portrayal of a haunted man in The Master. In an interview with Elvis Mitchell in Interview magazine, Phoenix said: “I don’t want to be part of it. I don’t believe in it. It’s the worst-tasting carrot I’ve ever tasted in my whole life. I don’t want this carrot.”
