Lindsay Lohan: My dad threatened to kill Mom
The actress, 23, recalls the troubled home life and marriage between her father and mother Dina. "She blames herself for staying w/him for so long," she says. But Lindsay begged Dina not to leave, she says, because "he always threatened to kill her if she did."
Her father, she adds, would often disappear for several days -- "cheating on my mother" and "abusing substances."
The troubled star laments "that I even have to share this w/everyone, but I haven't had a real relationship w/Michael Sr. In years . . . I just hope I can show others how to be strong through times and to be able to stand up for yourself and loved ones no matter what!"
